A celebration of life will be held for Robert Kendall “Bobby” Fugler at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Fair River Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will start at 1 p.m. until time of service at Fair River.

Robert Kendall “Bobby” Fugler, 65, of Brookhaven, MS, passed away March 23, 2026, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was born in Tacoma, Washington, October 1, 1960, to Robert Lee Fugler and Will Ann Smith Fugler.

Growing up, Bobby enjoyed baseball with his two favorite baseball teams being B&B Dairy from Brookhaven and the Red Socks from Boston. Fugler also was a dedicated fan of the University of Mississippi Athletics. He commemorated his love of the Rebels by naming his dog, Rebel. He was an avid music collector. His lifetime collection included thousands of CDs and albums. He loved to play drums. He was a natural conversationist and loved to visit with friends and relatives.

Preceding him in death are his parents, and his grandparents, Henry Fugler and Dillie Jane McGuffee Fugler and Jeffie Oscar Smith and Bessie Case Smith.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Brian Fugler and cousins, Mary Parmer, Nan New, Ann Rabb, Deanna Smith, Jeff Smith, Eric Smith, Les Smith, Rhonda Rayborn, Tanza Brown, Laura Keith, Daryl Nations, Scott Nations, Bobby Nations, Donna Clayton, Kathy Nations, Jay Nations, Jill Fugler Lacour (Lynn), Jim Bo Fugler, Randy Jackson, and Terry Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fair River Baptist Church softball field.
